Physician Assistant, President and CEO of Peninsula Research Group in Ormond Beach, Florida since March 2013. Graduated (98) as a Physician Assistant from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Graduated (02) from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies and specialization in Infectious Diseases. For nearly 20 years he served as Primary Care Provider for HIV/AIDS patients. Before becoming a Physician Assistant, he worked for eight years at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas Texas as a Patient Advocate and Spanish Translator. A lifelong bilingual educator he has presented at numerous medical educational conferences and meetings to both Medical Professionals and patients within the US, Mexico and Spain.

In 1980, the marvel of the Peruvian Horse was introduced into the life of the Ribo family while living in Dallas. From that moment, the “afición” took hold of his heart, growing more and more each year and now surpassing three decades. Barcelona R Ranch dedicated itself for these many years to cherishing, promoting and improving the Peruvian breed. During the 70s, 80s and 90s we had the joy to exhibit and breed at the national level. In the early 1990s, he was accredited as a judge by the AAOBPPH and subsequently by NAPHA. During his years as a judge, he has had the joy and privilege of judging numerous shows internationally in Canada. Ecuador and the US including the National US Show in Santa Barbara in 1999. After a furlough of several years, in 2016, he reactivated his credentials as a judge with NAPHA. Since then, he has had the honor of judging regional shows in the US including; Los Angeles in 2017, Miami in 2018, Washington DC in 2018 and the regional shows in Guayaquil, Ecuador in 2017 and 2018. In addition, Mr. Angel Ribó has also judged twice the Ecuadorian National Show in Guayaquil Ecuador in both 2017 and 2018. By serving in 2017, he was awarded the honor and distinction of becoming the first American and Non-Peruvian Judge to serve at the National Show in Ecuador. In 2019 Mr Ribo was one of two conferring judges for the 2019 US National Show in Scottsdale Arizona.
